My father is a doctor. As a result, I was always interested in medicine. During my master, I studied medical decision support systems. Medical Informatics, being in the intersection of medical sciences and engineering is the exact program that I was looking for. Use of technology in health field is a process that has fallen behind in the whole world. Via this program, we take courses and participate in projects related with medicine and engineering fields and try to fix this inefficiency. Briefly, the major advantage is gaining the necessary qualifications requested all over the world. I have gained a lot from the projects and courses. Important thing is to convey the information gained from this program to society by future works and applications and contribute to the improvements of our country within this field.
